Kathryn and Craig are very passionate about the training of their horses and love what they do. They enjoy taking on tried horses that other trainers may be struggling with and giving them a new opportunity to shine under their care. news1 The Kathryn Durden stable has completed a hat trick of wins in the space of 5 days across three different courses.

The first of these was the win of Loch Linnhe in 1300m Maiden at Geelong on the 20th July followed by the promising hurdler Wells in the 3200m Maiden Hurdle at Bendigo on the 22 July and rounding out the hat trick was the stable stalwart Moulin Bleu who won the 1500m 0 - 78 Rating Hcp at Mornington on the 25 July.

It is a fantastic result for the stable considering she only trains a small team from her Moriac base just outside of Geelong.

Wells Showing Good Promise as a Hurdler

news1 Kathryn Durden has unearthed a promising hurdler in the name of Wells. The son of Galileo was sent around as the short priced favourite in the Maiden 3200m Hurdle at Bendigo on 22 July and easy won the event by 6 lengths.

The writing was on the wall after Wells was trialed over the hurdles on 15 June, easily taking care of the opposition.

Kathryn is very happy with his progress and is now looking forward to further wins from the 4yo gelding.
